Find a taxi when you are a woman..

Marrakech is known for its special little and big taxes. These taxis are everywhere in the city and you can find them easily, it's like in New York City with its yellow taxis. But the difference with New york is that there, when taximen see women, they stop their car immediately and they never change prices (the price is the same for everyone).

In Marrakech, when you are a woman, it's not like that : it's very hard to be picked... The last day, for me and my friend, Marcia, it took about thirty minutes to find a taxi because the free taxis passed without looking us. We felt very lonely...

And when we were in the taxis, it was very difficult for us to negociate the price of the run because taximen don't like to talk to women. They feel more confident with men... Finally, we payed more than we had to pay for a normal run.

• Make sure that you are with a boy !!!!!

• Go next to a crossroad

• Put one of your hands up as fast as you can when the taxi arrives

• Tell to the taximan the price that you want and never come back on your price

• Don't enter in the taxi before you had fixed your price

• Pay the run at the end
